SEEAT Day 2026
In February, our SEEAT family of schools came together for a day that represented who we are: a trust built on collaboration, shared purpose, and doing the things that matter well.
SEEAT Day is all about learning from one another, strengthening the relationships that make us a genuine family of schools, and reminding ourselves of the power of collective expertise.
We were joined by two keynote speakers who bookended our day with inspiration, honesty, and challenge.
We began the morning with Essex’s own Vic Goddard , a leader who has not only transformed schools but also has bravely shown the whole country what school leadership and teaching really look like through Educating Essex.
Vic’s journey from Headteacher to CEO of a six‑school trust speaks directly to our vision at SEEAT: schools working together, sharing best practice, and lifting one another up.
We ended the afternoon with Marc Rowland, one of the most practical voices in the country on improving outcomes for disadvantaged learners. Marc’s ability to take complexity and turn it into something human, hopeful, and doable. His latest book, A–Z of Addressing Disadvantage, is quickly becoming a staffroom favourite and his session reminded us why we do what we do.
Throughout the day, we also heard from brilliant internal speakers, showcasing the talent, innovation and commitment that already exists within our trust.
A huge thank you to every member of staff who contributed, presented, connected, reflected, and made the day what it was.
