The Deanes and Cornelius Vermuyden Awards Evening

This term, The Deanes and Cornelius Vermuyden proudly hosted their annual Awards Evenings—celebrations that remind us why we do what we do.

Families arrived smiling, students walked in with a mix of excitement and nerves, and the atmosphere was one of togetherness.
Staff spoke about their students with genuine care, families applauded every achievement, and students cheered each other on.

Each evening had a special guest speaker: Andrew Cooper, CEO of SEEAT, at Cornelius Vermuyden, and Mike King MBE at The Deanes.

After the ceremonies, the conversations, photos, and laughter all reflected the same truth: these schools are thriving communities—places where students feel they belong, staff believe in them, and parents feel welcome.
