SEEAT Unites Talented Young Athletes in Inaugural Football Match

It was with great pride that the first ever SEEAT football match was played last week. The team, made up of 14 children from the five primary schools within the trust, took to the field for the very first time where they demonstrated great teamwork and sportsmanship.  The game was played on the fantastic facilities at Garons park against a District team from Havering Borough, chosen from a wider range of schools around Essex and London.

The game commenced with a fantastic first 20 minutes where the score remained 0-0 before the team valiantly fell short with the final score being 8-0.  All children showed school values in abundance, non more so than perseverance, teamwork and respect. Each were a credit to their school and wider trust community.

While the final result may not have favored the SEEAT team on this occasion, their spirit, determination and pride in representing the trust resonated throughout the match. The team showcased their potential and displayed the promise of a bright future for SEEAT football.

We are hoping to make the event annual with the possibility of further fixtures in 23/24.

A huge thanks to Mr Purvis (Holt Farm)  and Mr Dubouchet (Prince Avenue) for organising the game and a training session, Mr Moore (Head of Hadleigh Primary) for cheering on the team and Mr Anderson  (Prince Avenue) for transporting  players to the game.  Well done boys!
